Photography Printing FAQ
What is fine art photo printing?
Fine art photo printing is the giclée printing of photographs with archival pigment inks on fine art papers such as cotton rag and baryta. It gives a wider tonal range, deeper blacks and far greater longevity than standard photo lab prints.
Which paper is best for photography prints?
Baryta papers such as Origin Firenze Baryta give the depth and slight sheen of a traditional darkroom print. Smooth cotton rag gives a matt, gallery look, and pearl photographic paper is a great value choice for larger runs.
Do you print black and white photography?
Yes. Our printers use dedicated grey and black pigment inks, which give smooth neutral tones and rich blacks without the colour casts that can appear with standard printing.
How large can you print photographs?
Our Canon imagePROGRAF Pro printers can produce prints up to 60 inches wide. Standard sizes run from A5 to A1, and the online designer prices custom sizes instantly.
Can I get photography prints in London?
Yes. We print for photographers across London and deliver by tracked courier, typically within a few working days. See our giclée printing London page for London delivery details.
